The 20 Cubic Yard "IP-1" Container has a proven robust design. Material can be loaded via the one-piece removable lift-off "gasketed" lid or double "gasketed" doors on the front end of the container. The top-hinged "gasketed" door allows for dumping soil like materials. Each door allows for easy access during loading and unloading. Forklift pockets are designed to lift the container empty or loaded. Discharge is completed by the front hatch that includes a side release mechanism to ensure the safety of the operator.
23 Cubic Yard Container
The 23 Cubic Yard "IP-1" Container has a proven robust design. Material can be loaded via the one-piece removable lift-off "gasketed" lid or double "gasketed" doors on the rear of the container. The container "gasketed" bulkhead is removable for easy access for loading and unloading. Forklift pockets are designed to lift the container empty or loaded under the guidance of DOE-HDBK-5001-2017.
25 Cubic Yard Aluminum Lid IP-1 Container

28 Cubic Yard IP-1 Container
The 28 Cubic Yard "IP-1" Container is the newest of the ICE fleet of proven robust containers.Material can be loaded via the one-piece removable lift-off "gasketed" lid or "gasketed" rear door. The rear door features a removable header to allow access for loading without obstruction. The rear door is also designed with a single side mounted closure mechanism to ensure the safety of the operator during off-loading of material via dumping. Forklift pockets are designed to lift the container empty and loaded, rated at 3 times the gross weight of the container per the requirements of 49CFR 173.410.

ICE’s intermodal containers are versatile containers that can be transported via highway, rail, or marine. The containers range from 20 cubic yards to 25.4 cubic yard capacity. The standard intermodal container is 20′ long by 6’6″ high by 8′ wide. Our strong tight tarp top intermodal container are equipped with doors & lids that have a rubber gasket that prevents water and weather from getting inside the container. The containers are often shipped in combination with our ABC railcars and / or 4 position flatcars.
Cargo Containers
ICE has 20′ and 40′ standard and customized cargo containers with back-up gasket door seals and gasketed metal lids that allow for a weather tight container to keep the material inside dry. The containers can be custom modified with extensions, D-rings, etc. to meet your specific project needs.

ICE has the ability to custom modify and build containers specific to a projects transportation packaging requirements. Intermodal containers & cargo containers can be modified to support heavier payloads; unique sized packages or shielded to reduce radioactive dose rates.
